Automotive Mechanic

We are growing and are looking for experienced candidates for the position of automotive mechanic. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.

While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.

Responsibilities:

• Perform component replacements
• Remove and repair front drive-line components (e.g., front axles, C.V. joints, etc.)
• Provide basic servicing and maintenance on heavy equipment and trailers.
• Keep records on all services performed.
• Use service manuals for troubleshooting, wiring, and disassembly.
• Maintain shop area and equipment.
• Have basic understanding pneumatics and hydraulics for maintaining safe operations of shop lifts, air tools, jacks, pumps, and electrical tools.
• Perform minor tune-ups and troubleshoot engine problems and performance.
• Exercise good judgment and courtesy in scheduling maintenance and repairs.
• Fill out time sheets, daily.

Qualifications

• Three or more years experience in automotive repair work
• Minimum six months of related experience in an automotive service environment.
• Must have own tools (maintained in good repair and proper working order) and be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools and equipment.

Tire Technician

We are searching for experienced candidates for the position of tire technician.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs needed.
• Maintain a commitment to keeping the customer out of the workspace in a courteous manner.
• Adhere to all company policies and standards.
• Provide quality installation and balancing of rims and tires.
• Keep the work area clean and put away all tools.

Qualifications

• A minimum one year experience as a tire technician.
• Ability to work independently on assigned duties except direction on a given assignment.
• Must be able to sit, stand or kneel for a full shift.
• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred, demonstrated past problem solving, tool usage, and repair experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
